Financial Aid

We recognize that choosing an independent school is a major financial decision for families. Harrisburg Academy strives to assist as many families as possible who cannot afford the full tuition but are determined to stretch their own financial resources to make education their family's top priority. In a typical year, the Academy awards need-based financial aid to approximately 35% of the student body. Our financial aid awards are capped at 50% of tuition. Financial aid is not available for Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students.

Need-based financial aid is available to Academy families based on a number of different factors. Financial aid is renewable for each year the student remains enrolled at the Academy. Families must start the admission process before or at the same time as applying for financial aid. Financial aid awards are not determined until after a family is offered admission to Harrisburg Academy. 

Families are required to complete an online financial aid application and upload tax documentation annually. Qualified, motivated students are encouraged to apply for admission, regardless of financial need.
