Chinese students visit Camp Hill for cultural education

(WHTM) — A school in Camp Hill just added 17 new students.
Harrisburg Academy, located in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, welcomed a group of students from China today. They are visiting the school this week as part of an educational and cultural opportunity.
The students will be sitting in on classes by day, and spending time with host families each night. The goal is to understand the differences between China and the U.S. while building upon our similarities.
“What I think the future is the ability of young people to know each other and understand each other,” said Adrian Allan, the Head of “Harrisburg Academy.”
“I’m excited about the real life in America and what American students do every day,” said 8th-grade Chinese student Jack Zhang.
Harrisburg Academy has invited international students in the past, but usually in smaller groups and typically over the summer, when school is not in session.
